Episode 17: The One Where Allie Cries #2

Hi All!

Really excited to spend this weekend catching up to y’all. Our most recent episode of LOSTwatch, where we explore the episode In Translation (episode 17), is now up and running! Be sure to check it out and share LOSTwatch with your friends. We’re really in love with your commentary during each LiveTweet and are flattered by your enthusiasm for our show.

You can download/subscribe to Episode 17 here: http://lostwatch.libsyn.com/episode-17-the-one-where-allie-cries-2

Also, I’ve tried to boost the volume for a lot of the episode as a few people have commented on how quiet it can get. Apologies if there is any weird/uneven volume changes!

Love,

The Ordinary Folks

Episode 16: Shrimp Man

Hey All!

It has been a looonnnnng time since we found the time to update this blog! WTF.

Better late than never, I suppose?

LOSTwatch has been such a busy adventure, but we still love it. It is so great to hear all about your thoughts regarding not just the show but, also, the stuff that we say in the podcast. It’s great to be challenged by people who care enough to listen.

Anyway, this post will definitely represent a bit of a jump but here is the link to our newest episode, Shrimp Man! It was a lot of fun to dive into what is, perhaps, one of Allie’s favourite stories so far: the story of Sawyer. Hopefully the extra bit of recording is indicative of how much fun we had.

Very excited to get this rolling and be (almost) caught up! We also have a Patreon exclusive going up soon so stay tuned.

Sorry For the Delay(s)

Hi Everyone!

Nathan here. The first order of business is to let you all know that we will be returning with LOSTwatch (episode 10) on Sunday, April 16 at 2pm. That means that the LT which was originally schedule for tonight has been postponed.

We are sorry for all of these recent delays, which brings us to the second order of business: an update!

We want to assure you all, especially those of you who have gone out of your way to support us financially and otherwise, that the unpredictability of our schedule will be disappearing. As most of you know already, Allie and I have been working hard as Graduate Students and are just now transitioning into our summer workloads. That means that our last two weeks have been spent marching around town for job interviews and applications while still finishing up our administrative duties as students (yay for exam proctoring and committee work!). As of today, however, it sounds like both of our schedules will be easing into a routine and we can start taking care of the backlog of material we have for you all.

We know that the last two weeks have been hectic, but we want to make it clear that we are working diligently to return on Sunday with a professional and entertaining podcast (and LT) for you.

Lots of love,

The Ordinary Folks (actually Nathan this time)
